Enjoy Cinco Ranch

Amenities

The Cinco Ranch advantage means you’re never far from fun, starting with our newest amenity, the 76-acre Spring Green Recreation Center, featuring a scenic 30-acre lake surrounded by parks, greenbelts and wetland ledges.

A water park with a resort-style swimming pool, 2 water slides and a children’s spray park offers refreshing fun for every member of the family, and a Children’s Garden invites the youngest ones to clamber over boulders and fallen timbers, explore a dry stream bed, and witness the cycle of life in a butterfly garden.

At the heart of this recreation complex is The Lakehouse, featuring architecture inspired by historic Texas train depots.  The Lakehouse has spacious indoor and outdoor gathering areas for up to 100, and residents can reserve this facility for meetings and special events.

Most current and future new-home construction in Cinco Ranch is located west of Katy Gaston Rd., which is represented by the Cinco Ranch Residential Association II and includes the Spring Green Recreation Center and a host of future planned amenities.

Like many communities of its size, Cinco Ranch has more than one Homeowners Association, which has the benefit of giving homeowners a collectively stronger voice about issues affecting them closest to home in their individual neighborhoods.  Other Cinco Ranch amenities, including The Beach Club and The Water Park, are part of the community’s first HOA, the Cinco Residential Property Association. Please visit the Simply Cinco New Home Information Center for additional information.

Golf

Covering 167 scenic acres, The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch is one of our community's most high-profile features. The Golf Club, owned by Evergreen Alliance Golf Limited (EAGL), is an 18-hole, par-71 daily fee course, characterized by 50 sand traps and nine water hazards unfolding amid the rise and fall of sculptured topography.

As challenging as it is beautiful, The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch can test the mettle of even the most skilled golfer, while offering the average player, or beginner, the opportunity to play an enjoyable round of golf.

Cinco Ranch residents currently enjoy preferred tee times, greens discounts and other perks. The Club's Junior Golf Academy and Junior Golf Association offer great ways to introduce the entire family to the classic game of golf.

The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch offers its popular Junior Golf Academy each summer. A great way to introduce children ages 6-17 to the game, the Academy emphasizes fun and fellowship, along with instruction in the fundamentals of a sound golf swing. Junior tournaments are open to junior golfers of all playing abilities who are members of The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch Junior Golf Association. For more information on The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch, call 281-395-4653 or visit The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch Web site.

Parks And Greenbelts

The parks of Cinco Ranch range from neighborhood pocket parks, where you can amble over with a book or stroller, to major neighborhood recreation centers offering everything from swimming pools to tennis courts. Lakefront parks are located along 14-acre South Lake, which offers fishing, sailing and paddle boating for residents. A three-acre recreation area is nestled along the shore of Park Lake, our second-largest lake.

Cinco Ranch has a growing network of greenbelt trails, making it possible to jog, bike or rollerblade between just about every neighborhood, recreational facility and school in the community. When you really want a workout, challenge yourself to try the multi-station Exer-Trail. Cinco Ranch also has a unique Bayou Nature Trail, extending nearly four miles and preserving almost 70 acres of woodland and wetland habitat.  Plans are currently underway to connect the Bayou Nature Trail to the Buffalo Bayou Hike And Bike Trail.  This will allow residents of Cinco Ranch to ride their bikes from the Grand Parkway to Beltway 8 - a 26 mile bike trail.  More information on the new trail system can be found at the Energy Corridor Trail And Parks Web site.

George Bush Park, a 7,800-acre haven for recreation, borders Cinco Ranch. This park features amenities such as Houston's only official model airplane park, an equestrian nature trail, wildlife management areas, and the American Shooting Center. George Bush Park and neighboring parks in West Houston comprise the nation's largest urban park system, preserving 28,000 acres.
